(CHEYENNE) Looking for a place to retire? How about Wyoming? The National Institute on Retirement security has ranked the Cowboy State as the nation’s best for future retirees. Governor Matt Mead says the positive ranking recognizes Wyoming’s conservative and forward thinking culture and the work of both the private sector and government leaders over the years. The study evaluated potential retirement income, major retiree costs and the labor market conditions for older workers. Wyoming scored near the top in each category leading to its overall rating topping all 50 states.
