Airport Passenger Activity Increases Significantly

(JACKSON)  There was more positive growth in Jackson Hole Airport business during February.  According to the monthly report to the airport board, the number of passengers arriving on flights was up by 14% and the number of those departing was up by nine percent over the same month last year.  That comes on top of a 14% increase in arrivals from 2012 to 2013 and an 18% increase in departures between those two years.  Altogether, the airport recorded nearly 50,000 enplanements during the first two months of 2014 alone. The number of flights in and out of the valley also increased last month over the same month last year by 11%.  Jackson Hole Airport was served during the month by six airlines with non-stop service to 11 major markets.
