GTNP Hike Gains National Acclaim

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

(JACKSON, Wyo)  A popular hiking blog-site online has named Grand Teton National Park one of the ten best hiking destination in the country.  The publication explains that team members had a chance to nominate the locations they thought were the best, and through those they had most in common, created a list of the top ten.  Each selection on the list features major destinations such as a national park or a long-distance national scenic trail, along with a featured hike or partial route.  Grand Teton National Park, and specifically the Cascade Canyon trail, came in at ninth place owing to its natural beauty and ease of access.  The article touts, “…we saw several moose as well as other wildlife.  There’s also a waterfall and a lookout spot where you can pause to gaze of the lake and valley beyond.”
