Jackson Hole Community Pathways, in partnership with JH Public Art, is seeking an artist to create one large mural for the pathway underpass at Highway 390, near the intersection of Highways 22 and 390. This highly used underpass sees commuters traveling between Jackson, Wilson, and Teton Village and people coming and going to Rendezvous Park and the nearby Snake River. This is a paid opportunity for an artist located in Teton County and its commuter communities including Victor and Driggs, Star Valley, Pinedale, Dubois, and the Wind River Reservation. Artist may choose from topics that include local ecology and environmental initiatives, local history honoring those who have made significant contributions to regional Jackson Hole culture, or community diversity and cohesion. A $4500 commission is being offered for the work. Interested artists should contact alex@jhpublicart.org by July 25th.
