New Scholarship Awarded
Leah Schwartz of Jackson became one of two recipients of the University of Wyoming College of Law’s inaugural Judge Clarence A. Brimmer Scholarship this week. Schwartz and Stephanie Holguin of Riverton were the recipients of the new program that provides up to $10-thousand of a student’s final year of law school in honor of the long and distinguished career of Judge Clarence Brimmer. Schwartz interned in the UW Legal Services Program and has just accepted the position of the Legal Services Student Clinic director for the coming year. She also served as the president for the Wyoming Law Students for Equal Justice, volunteers for the Wyoming Access to Justice Commission, and has recently submitted a case note to the current edition of the Wyoming Law Review, due for publication this spring.
