JHHS Students To National Contest
A program founded in 1989 to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology has caught the fancy of 18 students at Jackson Hole High School – so much so that they created a robot for regional competition that won them a spot in national competition. The FIRST Tech Challenge takes place this weekend in St. Louis, Missouri attracting some 592 competing teams from across the nation. Top finishers can qualify for nearly $7-million in college scholarships. 10 students from the team left for St. Louis yesterday.
