Connections Academy Moves Away
Wyoming’s online K-12 school program, Connections Academy has announced a new partnership with Big Horn County School District #1 to deliver the online curriculum. Wyoming Connections Academy has been associated with Teton County School District #1 since it was established in 2009, but decided to change its school district association at the end of this year because of differences. Following the end of the school year June 3rd, the program will move to Cowley, Wyoming with its teachers and administrators. The program enrolls students in grades K–12 from anywhere in the state and offers and alternative tuition-free, public education option. Enrollment currently is about 100 students and students are being signed up now for the 2011–2012 school year.
