Flood Watch Issued For Jackson Hole
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the mountains and valleys around Jackson Hole through Thursday morning. Afternoon mountain temperatures Wednesday below 9000 feet will rapidly warm up to cause rapid snow-melt. Meanwhile, windy and mild conditions are expected at the higher elevations Wednesday night, which will continue the sharp increases in snow-melt overnight and during the early morning hours. Residents are advised to monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
