Wells Fargo Names New President
Wells Fargo Bank has promoted from within their ranks to fill the recent vacancy in the office of Market President. Jim Ryan, who has headed business banking for the firm, was named to that post Monday, according to a press release from the company’s corporate office. Ryan continues to serve as Wells Fargo’s Business Banking manager for Jackson. As market president, Ryan is responsible for Wells Fargo’s community relations efforts, including donations and sponsorships. He leads Wells Fargo’s Community Advisory Board which is a group of local business leaders. That Board provides counsel and support, feedback on products and services, input relating to the financial services needs of the community, and suggestions for ways Wells Fargo can better meet those needs. Ryan fills the post vacated last week with Pete Lawton assumed a post as CEO of the Bank of Jackson Hole.
