Jackson Schools are in Lockdown after Cottonwood Park Shooting

Schools in Jackson went into lockdown mode this afternoon after a shooting incident in Cottonwood Park.
School officials are asking parents NOT to come down to the schools until the lockdown is over.
The lockdown was put into effect due to the proximity to the incident that occured earlier this afternoon.

A suspect is at large this afternoon after a shooting incident in the Cottowood Park are of Jackson. The suspect is a male wearing a black hoodie.
If you see the suspect, do not approach as he is armed. Contact Police at 733-2331 if you see the suspect
