The team charged with forging Teton Valley 2020 comprehensive planning initiative is seeking public input regarding community values to be contained in that plan.  The County’s Comprehensive Plan, is intended to be the guiding document for land use and growth policy in Teton County, Idaho. Through initial public input, five sub-committees were created to focus on areas of high interest in the community, including Economic Development, Natural Resources and Outdoor Recreation, Community Events and Facilities, Transportation, and Agricultural and Rural Heritage.  The survey currently being conducted is being termed “visioning” which the committee says ensures that county residents’ values and goals are accurately reflected in the plan’s elements, policies and frameworks.  Once compiled, the committee says the results will be presented to the county staff, core committee, planning and zoning, and the board of county commissioners for endorsement.  The survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DraftVision.
