Bison Hunting Set For Montana

The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission has adopted a standard bison hunt quota of 44 either sex licenses for Montana’s 2011 bison hunt, consistent with quotas set in the past four years. Bison hunting begins November 15th.  That state has a new archery season for bison this season which requires participants to first attend an archery orientation session before getting their license.  Montana FWP also expanded a bison hunting district north of Gardiner to the north and west beginning this year.
