Bear Victim Identified

That hunter attacked by a bear Sunday in Grand Teton National Park has been identified now.  32-year-old Timothy Hix of Jackson is reportedly in good condition recovering from bite wounds at St. John’s Medical Center.  Investigators report having found an elk carcass near where the attack occurred, although Hix reported not having shot an elk before he encountered the bear.  A closure ¼ mile surrounding the area where the incident took place has been invoked.
