November Means Road Closures

road-closed

Two roads within Grand Teton National Park closed to vehicle traffic for the winter season today. Those closures include the Moose-Wilson Road between Granite Canyon and Death Canyon trailheads and the length of the Teton Park Road between Taggart Lake parking area and the Signal Mountain Lodge parking lot – although non-vehicle traffic may continue to use it until it is closed by snow. In addition to the annual road closures, the Moose, Moran and Granite Canyon entrance stations will temporarily close for the month of November and early December; they are scheduled to reopen on December 15 for the winter season. The Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Moose, is also reducing its hours to 9:00 am until 5:00 pm daily.  In the town of Jackson, November first means overnight parking will no longer be permitted on the streets.
