GTNP Visits Down Slightly
Recreational visits to Grand Teton National Park in October posted yet another decline this year, with about 5.6% fewer visitors in the park to recreate while those passing through the park entrances for all reasons combined produced a total visitation decline of about ½%. Specifically, slightly more than 141-thousand people visited the park for leisure with another 121-thousand for other reasons. Year-to-date, about 3.6 million visitors have been counted at Grand Teton National Park, a 3% decline from last year.
