Wolf Hearing Tonight
The proposed rule to remove Endangered Species Act protections for Wyoming Wolves will be the subject of public hearing this evening at Central Wyoming College. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and Wyoming Game and Fish Department are seeking input from residents before putting the plan in place early next year. Under the agreement, wolves would be considered predators in most of the state with the animal enjoying trophy game status in the northwestern corner of Wyoming. Some environmental groups have said they intend to attend the meeting to voice their concerns about that arrangement.
