CDST Now #3
Wyoming’s Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail has been named the number three snowmobile trail in the west this year with a difference of only 1/100 of a point from number two – Island Park. West Yellowstone keeps the #1 spot. The Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail had been number one in three previous years. However, SnoWest’s Guide to Snowmobiling quickly adds that while the CDST slips to #3, it is still one of the best in the West. These standings were the result of a survey by the readers of SnoWest Magazine, the sport’s leading authority on adventure snowmobile riding. This designation is published in the annual “Western Guide to Snowmobiling 2011” ranking scenery, grooming, signage, map, off-trail, snow quality, crowds, terrain, services and weather by the people who know it best, the riders.
