Skier Rescued From Teton Pass
A 24-year-old Rexburg man was the subject of a brief search and rescue Friday night after he became disoriented while skiing Teton Pass. According to Search and Rescue Coordinator Doug Meyer, Chuck Sneddon had been skiing alone Friday when he found himself in an unfamiliar area when the sun set. Sneddon called 911 from his cell phone for help about 5:30 pm and settled in to be escorted out. Searchers located Sneddon in the Avalanche Bowl area and Meyer says returned him to the road below by 9:00 pm without incident.
