After several rounds of community meetings over the past two years to develop a management plan for the Wyoming Range mule deer herd, The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will again be visiting those local communities to discuss current issues and progress on the Wyoming Range Mule Deer Initiative. One of the main thrusts of the Wyoming Range Mule Deer Initiative is to maintain an ongoing dialogue with those interested in the Wyoming Range deer herd.  Local Game and Fish personnel responsible for management of the Wyoming Range mule deer herd will be recapping the 2011 hunting seasons during public meetings in Marbleton, Kemmerer, Green River and Afton later this month, revisiting the mule deer initiative that was created and discuss the ongoing work the Game and Fish is involved in for Wyoming Range deer.
