Broncs Participate in 4-state Tourny

The Jackson Hole High School Varsity Basketball Teams returned from the Flaming Gorge Invitational Tournament with one win each for the girls’ and the boys’ teams.  Competition began Thursday and concluded Saturday in the Green River and Rock Springs area.  The boys began the long weekend with a loss to Sheridan 39 to 75, and then were defeated Friday by Cheyenne Central, 38 to 58.  They were able to turn things around again on Saturday, defeating Green River 52 to 35.  Meanwhile, the Lady Broncs lost to Rock Springs Thursday 25 to 58, defeated Manila, Utah 46 to 26 but lost to Steamboat Springs, Colorado later in the day, 27 to 48.  They finished the weekend with a Saturday loss to Green River, 31 to 40.  Conference play in the basketball season begins after the first of the year.
