A Jackson student has been nominated for admission to two US military academies.  Senator Mike Enzi last week announced the nomination of a total of 18 Wyoming students for admission to service academies.  Among them is Lars Schou of Jackson who is seeking admission to the US Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs and the US Naval Academy at Annapolis.  Enzi says nominees are selected with the aid of an academy selection committee put together by the senator. Receiving a nomination is the first step in the process of seeking an appointment to an academy with each academy making the final selection.  Nominees may also be considered for admission under other categories.
