Avalanche Danger Elevates
This storm system’s snow and strong winds have raised the risk of avalanches northwestern Wyoming to “high.” The Bridger-Teton National Forest Avalanche Center has issued an avalanche warning effective through midnight Friday advising against venturing into avalanche terrain in in the area during the next couple of days. The advisory says avalanches could also reach the highways over Teton Pass and through the Hoback and Snake River canyons.
