Dog Sled Champion Returns

Streeper

Officials of this year’s International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race have announced that former three-time race champion Bud Streeper of British Columbia, Canada is returning to race again this year.  The 29-year-old Streeper won the race in 2004, 2010 and 2011.  All in all, Race Organizer Frank Teasley says competition will the tough. The IPSSSDR, now in its 17th year, is the largest sled dog race in the lower 48 states.     The race begins with a ceremonial start in Jackson on January 27th and travels through small Wyoming communities before finishing in Park City, Utah February 4th.  Altogether, 22 teams are now registered for the event, coming from parts of the world ranging from Scotland, and northern Canada to eight different states across the US.
