Construction Worker Dies in GTNP
A 33-year-old construction worker in Grand Teton National Park has died of injuries he sustained in a fall from a two-story building Monday morning. According to park officials, Bryon Peck from Eastern Colorado fell from a housing unit under construction in the Moose housing area about 11:40 am Monday, and was rushed to St. John’s Medical Center and promptly flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center to be treated for a variety of serious injuries. Peck died Wednesday. Park officials say officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are currently investigating the incident.
