Teton Pass Closed, Travel Discouraged Elsewhere

Teton Pass Closed

Weather conditions have prompted the Wyoming Department of Transportation to close Teton Pass at 7:00 pm Wednesday.  WYDOT will also be conducting avalanche control overnight.  Highway officials hope to reopen the pass sometime Thursday morning.  Meanwhile, WYDOT has advised there should be no unnecessary travel between north Jackson and Dubois via Togwotee Pass due to drifting snow and poor visibility.  Motorists should check the WYDOT website (see below) or by dialing 511 on their cell phones before setting out tonight in Northwestern Wyoming.
