Bronc Speech Team Still No. 1 in 3A
The Jackson Hole High School Speech and Debate Team remains undefeated for the season, earning their sixth first place finish of the season at the Rock Springs Invitational, held over the weekend. Jackson topped the seven other schools competing in their own 3A division, and went on to also best all 4A schools but Green River at the seventeen-school meet. Jackson scored 52 sweepstakes points, followed by second place 3A finisher Cody, with 23 points. Jackson was also awarded a trophy honoring their best showing in platform events, which include congressional debate, original oratory and extemporaneous speaking. The team travels to Natrona County High School next weekend for one of the largest meets of the season.
