Blayne “Buddy” Streeper pulled into the lead as the International Pedegree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race completed its third day in the Pinedale/Cora area Monday.  His total time for the three legs of the race was six-hours, 29-minuted and six seconds.  Just eight minutes behind him is Aaron Peck of Alberta, Canada who says the interaction with the people in the communities along the race route that makes the race special for him. This marks Peck’s fourth time competing in the IPSSSDR.  Meanwhile, only 27 seconds behind Peck is John Stewart of Aberdeen, Scotland who last year handled dogs for Streeper and this year is driving a Steeper dog team. The race is in Big Piney/Marbleton today.
