Those traveling around Jackson Hole may have witnessed certain price instability for gasoline at various purveyors.  Nationally, AAA Auto Club says the price per gallon has been on a steady climb over the past month – now averaging $3.51 per gallon of unleaded regular which is 12 cents higher than last month.  Typically, says AAA, this is the time of year gas prices see a seasonal drop.  However, they add, speculation surrounding events in the Middle East coupled with refinery closings in the Northeastern US sill steadily push gas prices up in the weeks ahead.  Currently, AAA says, Wyoming boasts the lowest average price for gasoline at $3.01 per gallon.  The surrounding states of Colorado and Montana follow at $3.06 per gallon.  In Jackson Hole, price reports to Motor Trend average $3.03 while the average is $3.19 in Teton Valley, Idaho.
