Sage Grouse Scoping Scheduled

Sage-grouse

The Bridger-Teton National Forest has scheduled a series of public meetings to discuss Greater Sage-grouse conservation measures in Wyoming.  Forest Spokesperson Mary Cernicek says the meetings will include information on how Bureau of Land Management in Wyoming and the Bridger-Teton National Forest will incorporate measures into their current management of federal lands. Scoping meetings are scheduled to take place in the Pinedale office the afternoon of February 28th and in the Jackson office March 2nd. The scoping meetings are a forum for collecting input related to amending the Bridger-Teton National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan. Scoping comments may be made at the meeting or submitted in writing by March 23rd.
