Gasoline Prices Surge
Gasoline prices have taken a sudden surge up this week, not only locally, but across the nation as well. AAA Auto Club’s Fuel Gauge Report shows the national average jumped by 16 cents on average from last week, and 31 cents from a month ago. Wyoming remains the state with the lowest average price at $3.15 per gallon of unleaded regular. Here in Jackson, the price has jumped to $3.19 per gallon on average, while across the pass in Teton Valley gasoline now averages $3.27 per gallon. The highest priced gasoline in the 48 contiguous states can be found in California where the price has risen to $4.32 per gallon.
