Plowing To Begin In GTNP
If you haven’t skied the Moose-Wilson or Teton Park Road in Grand Teton National Park this season, time is running out. Park officials say plowing of the road will begin on Monday, effectively closing the trails along those roads for the season. Park Spokesperson Jackie Skaggs says there are other trails and areas adjacent the roads where skiing, snowshoeing and skate skiing can continue to be enjoyed. The Grassy Lake Road in the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway is scheduled to close to over-snow travel on Thursday evening in conjunction with the closure of the South Entrance Road in Yellowstone National Park.
