Wyoming Still Has Lowest Gasoline Prices
The country’s current average price of $3.80 per gallon of unleaded regular gasoline nationwide is the result of a 27¢ increase in gas prices over the past month. One oil company executive blames the recent increase on tensions between Iran and the western world over the middle-east country’s nuclear program. Wyoming’s prices remain the lowest in the nation. According to AAA Auto Club’s Fuel Gauge Report, the state average is $3.30 per gallon…four cents lower than gas in neighboring Colorado and fully 11¢ lower than in Montana. Jackson Hole’s average price is now $3.32 while Teton Valley now averages $3.68 per gallon of unleaded regular.
