The annual PAWS testing began yesterday Teton County’s schools. That’s the standardized testing program in the state that has been beleaguered with problems over the years. The Wyoming Department of Education yesterday demonstrated its new assessment resource tool in at a Casper media event. The new tool was explained as a way of collecting data from around the state and providing parents, districts and school administrators with informative reports allowing them to compare assessment results between surrounding school districts. Phases two and three of the new system are to be released later this year.
