Electric Coop Offers Scholarships

Fall River Electric

Fall River Rural Electric Cooperative is once again offering postsecondary scholarships to area high school graduating seniors whose parents or guardians are members of Fall River Electric. This specifically includes those attending both Teton County, Wyoming District #1 schools and Teton County, Idaho District #401 schools.  A member may either have a permanent residence, a vacation property or commercial business. Fall River Electric postsecondary scholarships start at $500 and can be worth up to $2,000 over a 4 year period of time. In order to apply, graduating seniors must have at least a 2.0 G.P.A. or the G.P.A. required by the school in which the student is seeking to enroll. Selection criteria is based on financial need combined with scholastic and extra-curricular achievement. The scholarship application is available at the Fall River Electric website under “myCommunity.”  Applications must be postmarked by Friday, March 23rd. Over the history of this program, Fall River Electric has awarded over $370,000 in scholarships to deserving graduating seniors.
