The Jackson Hole High School Speech and Debate Team took top honors the 3A State Championship this weekend, held in Rock Springs at Western Wyoming Community College.  The championship comes on the heels of the team’s undefeated season which is considered a feat rare in the world of competitive speech.  Jackson led the 3A schools with 31 sweepstakes points, followed by Powell in second with 15 points and Douglas and Star Valley tying for third with 13 points each.  The first place finish comes on the heels of second place finishes for the team during the two previous years.
