Bridger-Teton National Forest is seeking public comment on an exploration proposal for a project that would be located approximately 22-miles northwest of Big Piney in Sublette County.  True Oil Company is proposing to drill one well each from two well pads.  One of those pads already exists and would need to be expanded; the other is from a reclaimed area that would need to be reconstructed.  The proposal calls for yet a third well pad to be expanded to hold a 65,000-barrel freshwater reservoir for drilling and completion.  Before the Bridger-Teton begins its Environmental Assessment of the proposal, the Forest is gathering concerns or comments from the public. Those comments should be submitted to the Big Piney Ranger District by April 16th.
