A string of shoplifting incidents Thursday led to charges against two Rigby, Idaho juveniles who had decided to use a part of their spring break in this manner.  Jackson Police Sergeant Cole Nethercott says altogether eight downtown businesses fell victim to the youths.  Altogether, only about $150 in merchandise was stolen and later recovered, and two teenage boys were charged with the thefts and released to their parents.  Especially with the summer season approaching, Nethercott urges business owners and their employees to continue to be alert for such operations – with the best defense simply greeting the patrons and actively offering to assist them.
