Air Traffic Still Sagging
Air travel through the Jackson Hole Airport continued to sag during March – likely linked to the somewhat lackluster winter season. According to the monthly report to the airport board, those catching flights out of the valley decreased by 3% while those arriving increased by 3%. Those figures contributed to a year-to-date decline of 8% for those boarding flights out of Jackson Hole and decline of 5% for those arriving. At the same time, the monthly tally showed 15% fewer flights here last month, and 14% fewer year-to-date.
