St. John’s Medical Center will have a new Chief Executive Director once again, pending contract negotiations.  The hospital board announced the selection of Dr. Louis Hochheiser for the post after a five month national search and the review of 130 candidates for the post.  Currently, Dr. Hochheiser is the Chief Medical Leader for a Fortune 100 healthcare insurance and services company, overseeing the work of a large team of physicians and clinical policy staff located throughout the country. Prior to his current position, Dr. Hochheiser was chair of the Departments of Family Medicine at Brown University and at the University of Vermont.  Once a contract agreement is reached, Dr. Hochheiser would take over his position early this summer.
