With the adoption of the 2012 Comprehensive Plan by the Jackson Town Council and Teton County Commission, members of the joint planning commissions met Wednesday to review an implementation plan.  Teton County Planner Jeff Daugherty explains that what the implementation plan amounts to is largely budgetary as it involves staff work on regulations to set the comprehensive plan into motion.  Daugherty says the planning commissions felt pretty good about the recommendations that the committee had been made to them but added two or three items including having a blue-ribbon panel or the county commission participate in the housing nexus study.  Once the elected officials adopt an implementation plan, it will become effective immediately.
