National Forest

While most forest facilities have opened for the season now, there are still some areas where access is limited due to early season conditions.  On the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, the Ashton/Flagg Ranch Road and dispersed camping is not yet open.  On the Gardiner Ranger District of the Gallatin National Forest, the Palmer Mountain Road remains closed due to snow.  Visitors to Bridger Teton National Forest will find the Upper Gros Ventre Road, Munger Mountain Road, Mosquito Creek Road, North Fall Creek Road and Ditch Creek Road also not open for the season yet.
