Barrasso Calls For Less Govt. Interference

Barrasso

Senator John Barrasso visited with Jackson Hole Radio Thursday morning, telling listeners that intrusive government regulations that continue to proliferate are bad for Wyoming business. Barrasso says small business owners all around the state find much uncertainty with new regulations, taxes and the possibility of a new healthcare law.  He says this discourages people from hiring new workers at a time Teton County leads the state in joblessness.  Barrasso says he hears much on this subject during his frequent town-hall meetings which are conference calls to his constituency.  He says people worry about those things coming out of Washington that impact us at home.  He says most people are saying “Tell Washington to just leave us alone.”  Meanwhile, Barrasso says the Congress considered five different budget proposals last week and failed to agree on any.
