Jackson Wins Grant Recommendation
The Wyoming Business Council Board of Directors Friday recommended approval of a grant of ¼ million dollars for phase one of improvements to be made to the Snow King Convention and Event Center in Jackson. The board reviewed 22 Community Development Block Grant Program applications totaling nearly $2.4 million during their meeting last week in Pinedale. Before making the final recommendation to the board, staff members review each application conducts a site visit and presents their findings to a board subcommittee. Jackson’s application outlines plans to add new meeting rooms and better communication access. If granted, the $250-thousand from the state would have to be matched by the town.
