Tourism Season Begins In Wyoming

Tourism season has begun now in Wyoming, and so has Wyoming’s marketing campaign for the summer.  The division of tourism’s national advertising campaign has been implemented for several months now.  Division of Travel and Tourism Director Diane Shober says the department has recently launched an adjacent campaign targeting areas around the state hoping to allure visitors to events here in the state.  That campaign she says focuses more on events and things to see and do in the state.  She says people who live here or adjacent the state already know that Yellowstone and Grand Teton are in Wyoming, so the division of tourism wants to have them understand there is a lot to fill up one day or five days.  Tourism brings in close to three-billion dollars each year to the state’s economy.
