Gasoline Prices Fall — Elsewhere
Wyoming has not kept pace with the falling gasoline prices nationwide, pushing Wyoming from the group of states with the lowest prices to the group with the next to the highest. According to AAA Auto Club, prices this week fell nationwide to an average of $3.58 per gallon of unleaded regular while Wyoming’s average stubbornly came in at $3.62 per gallon. The highest prices cited nationwide by AAA were mostly located along the West Coast and in the Pacific Northwest, followed by the Rocky Mountain States. Here in Jackson Hole, prices average $3.68 while the average in Teton Valley is currently $3.86 according to statistics gathered locally by Motor Trend. AAA is predicting that prices should continue to fall nationally in the weeks ahead.
