New Electric Monitoring System Offered

June 8, 2012 State of Idaho, Teton County, Teton Valley No Comments
MYMETER

Fall River Electric Cooperative this weekend plans to unveil what may be the most innovative service to ever be offered its member-owners. MYMETER is a free service which allows members to see their actual electric usage on a monthly, weekly, daily and even hourly basis in easy-to-view and understand graphs. It’s the first tool ever offered that will allow members to see how things such as the weather, company in the home, or usage during different times of the day can influence the energy they consume, and its cost.  The free internet-based service translates complex energy consumption, weather and billing data into an intuitive, easy-to-read graphic format via a secure delivery method to the member-owners.  In addition to being able to view their own current usage, MYMETER will allow them to compare their current usage to previous usage or to an average of others in their neighborhood.  The program will be presented to co-op members during their annual meeting in Ashton Saturday.  Those member-customers include residents and businesses in Teton Valley.
