Buy A Town In Paradise (Valley)

June 22, 2012 Greater Yellowstone, Paradise Valley No Comments
Pray

Did you miss your chance to purchase an entire town when Buford, Wyoming was sold at auction last month?  Well, you have another chance – and this town is in the Greater Yellowstone area.  Pray, Montana, located 30 miles north of Gardiner and 2½ miles from the popular Chico Hot Springs Resort, will be auctioned to the highest bidder Wednesday at 6:30 pm.  The town consists of an old general store with antique artifacts, a post office with its own zip code, a 4-year-old modern store building with living quarters and five acres of land.  It also comes with established rental income.  The auction is being conducted on site, but bidders  may participate online if they wish.  The owner of the town, Barbara Walker, has lived there with her family since 1953; but after her husband died in 2006, she decided maintaining the town herself was just too difficult.  A full description of the town can be found online from Mason & Morse Ranch Company of Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
