State Grants Funds To Snow King Center

A grant request of $ ¼-million was unanimously approved yesterday by the Wyoming Business Council to be used for Phase I of renovations to the Snow King Convention and Events Center in Jackson.  Phase I of the center renovations will focus on the expansion of the facility’s entrance, the addition of new meeting rooms, and the expansion of communication capabilities for the center and associated meeting rooms. The facility is owned by the town of Jackson and will be operated by Center Management, Inc. Both the town of Jackson and CMI will be responsible of for the operations and maintenance of the facility as delineated within their lease agreement.  The business council reported that Center Management is estimating that by the third year after this project is completed that the facility will yield over $3 million in additional revenue to the community.
