Local Publisher Dies at 101

Jackson Hole Radio News notes with sadness the passing of a giant in this community’s media.  Elizabeth McCabe, Co-publisher of the Jackson Hole News and Guide, died Friday evening at her home at the age of 101. McCabe was a familiar sight around town with her camera as she took photographs of notable events to contribute to the paper’s coverage of the community and its residents including such events as high school graduation and the Teton County fair.  Governor Matt Mead noted that she had been a close friend to his grandparents and entire family.  No announcements have been made yet regarding services.
