New Non-Profit Funds Women’s Health Care
Jackson Hole Family Planning, Inc. has been formed as a new nonprofit to financially assist women who live or work in Teton County to receive routine gynecologic and family planning care. JHFP is administered in Emerg+A+Care but supports all participating women’s health physicians. Organization President Dr. Brent Blue says the goal of the program is to reduce the financial barriers to routine women’s health care and contraception. Support for up to 90% of the costs of routine Pap smears, IUDs, initial pregnancy ultrasounds, and Depo-Provera injections may be provided based on the patient’s ability to pay. Any women interested in the program can call 733-8002 to learn more about it.
